WUD CEO Anja Raudabaugh participated in the second California Water Plan 2028 Advisory Committee meeting on August 25 and 26. The committee advises the California Department of Water Resources as it develops the state’s long-term framework for managing water supplies.
Discussions focused on California’s future water needs, including agricultural demand, groundwater management, water supply gaps, climate impacts, infrastructure and the development of recommendations for the 2028 plan. Committee members also discussed the Colorado River and upcoming regional forums that will gather input from communities across the state.
