Double Rainbow Ice Cream, the iconic Bay Area ice cream company known for crafting ice cream with California dairy since 1976, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this fall with a season-long celebration honoring its heritage and loyal fans.

The celebration includes the launch of a 50th anniversary giveaway, limited-edition Double Rainbow Sprinkles and Hot Fudge Sauce, and the debut of a celebratory Anniversary Cake ice cream flavor, created to commemorate the company’s golden anniversary.
The new Anniversary Cake flavor features salted vanilla ice cream swirled with ribbons of fudge, festive sprinkles and rich chocolate cake pieces, creating a nostalgic birthday cake-inspired experience worthy of the occasion.
The flavor is available in two formats: 2.5-gallon tubs for foodservice operators as a limited-time offering and seven-ounce cups featuring a chocolate shell topped with colorful sprinkles that crack open to reveal the Double Rainbow Anniversary Cake ice cream inside.
